GLEI Advisory Board Member Appointed as a member of the Board of Overseers of NIST’s Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award

The Great Lakes Energy Institute (GLEI) congratulates GLEI Advisory Board Member Raymond Floyd, who was recently appointed as a member of the Board of Overseers of National Institute of Standards and Technology in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s (NIST) Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA). The MBNQA is a presidential level award that recognizes the nation’s best performing organizations in six categories: manufacturing, service, small business, education, health care, and nonprofit. Organizations are evaluated based on 5 areas: product and process outcomes, customer outcomes, workforce outcomes, leadership and governance outcomes, and financial and market outcomes. Past award recipients include AARP, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, and Nestlé Purina PetCare Co.
