Case Western Reserve University to Lead Project on Energy Storage

The goal of the project is to create energy storage resources for use in the defense and aerospace industries. Case said in a news release that the grant is part of a statewide effort “to stimulate economic development and jobs.”

The grant also establishes a collaborative organization between several universities and industry members in the Great Lakes area. One of the partnership’s goals will be to raise external funding in order to continue with further projects beyond the grant's timeline.

Congratulations to Case Western Reserve University and the other partnership members, who received a total of $7.1 million to facilitate their partnership and clean energy research!
