Congratulations to Dr. Edward Maginn, BEES Key Researcher from the University of Notre Dame, for being appointed to senior editor at The Journal of Physical Chemistry C.
Sara Hamilton, a graduate student at Columbia University and a member of the BEES Student Research Organization, has been selected to be a Lead Teaching Fellow for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The BEES EFRC welcomed Dr. Melanie Sanford from the University of Michigan who spoke on developing organic electrolytes for non-aqueous redox flow batteries.
The BEES EFRC was excited to have Dr. James (Jim) Davis present his research on, “The thoughtful, deliberate crafting of ion structures and compositions to achieve desired characteristics in the resulting ionic liquids”
Two researchers in the BEES EFRC, Sara Hamilton and Sahana Bhattacharyya, presented updates on their research into NOHMs (Nanoparticle Organic Hybrid Materials).
Dr. Steven Greenbaum's team present results on their investigation into the Dynamics in Novel Structured Electrolytes by NMR
Relaxometry and Diffusometry.
