Graduate Student Sara Hamilton Selected to be Lead Teaching Fellow

Sara Hamilton, a graduate student at Columbia University and a member of the BEES Student Research Organization, has been selected to be a Lead Teaching Fellow for the 2020-2021 academic year!  The Lead Teaching Fellowship at Columbia is a professional development opportunity for doctoral students who are committed to promoting pedagogical practices and conversations among graduate students. It involves organizing teaching-related workshops in their home department, and acting as a liaison between their peers and the Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia.   Sara says, “I love teaching and mentoring students so I think the fellowship is a great opportunity to develop those skills further and connect fellow graduate students with teaching development opportunities at Columbia.”
