The BEES2 team attended the 2025 EFRC-Hub-CMS-CCS Principal Investigators meeting, sponsored by the Department of Energy’s Office of Basic Energy Sciences (DOE BES), on August 11 and 12, 2025. The event brought together leading researchers to share critical advances in energy science, and BEES2 members highlighted the center’s ongoing contributions to the field.

A major highlight of the meeting was the recognition of the team’s ability to visualize complex science. The illustration created by Miguel Muñoz (PhD student at CWRU) was the recipient of the “People’s Choice Award” at the Art of Science Image Contest.
