Out of over 300 projects funded by Department of Energy (DOE) Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E), our titanium project -- along with five others -- were invited to a congressional showcase held on Capitol Hill on March 3rd, 2016. The attendees included representatives from various senators, project managers from ARPA-E and also the director of ARPA-E Dr. Ellen Williams herself. Dr. Williams recalled her previous visit to our lab at CWRU and complimented it being "one of the cleanest electrochemistry labs she had seen".
