Janet Gbur, third year PhD student from Canfield OH, was one of the recipients of the 2012 ASTM International Project Grants Award for her thesis research on the Mechanical Characterization of 316 LVM wires. Her research focuses on understanding fatigue deformation in shape memory wires for application in bio-medical devices.
