Associate Professor Michael Hore provides insight in Science Magazine on impact of reactor shutdown

Michael Hore, associate professor in Macromolecular Science & Engineering, recently discussed the impact the nuclear reactor shutdown at the National Institute of Standards and Technology has had on research with Science magazine. 

In the article, Hore notes that the shutdown will set one of his projects back one or two years. “It’s not like we can go somewhere else,” he says. “There are only so many instruments and they’re all oversubscribed as it is."
