On August 3, 2022, Professor Rohan Akolkar of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department was appointed as the director of the Electronics Design Center (EDC). Akolkar, the Milton and Tamar Maltz Professor and Ohio Eminent Scholar, is a pioneering researcher in the field of electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering. His vast academic and industrial experience in the field of electrochemical nano-fabrication will be an asset to the EDC. Under his leadership, EDC will continue its legacy of impactful research and contribute to hands-on education for our students.
