Esmaeel Asadi receives a Travel Grant Award to attend Lloyd’s Day at Rice University

Esmaeel Asadi, a PhD Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering, has been awarded a travel grant to attend Lloyd’s Day at Rice University: “The Smart and Resilient City”. The conference was held at Anderson Clarke Center of Rice University in Houston, TX on October 4, 2018.   Esmaeel presents on his recent research activities on “Multi-Criteria Decision Model for Risk-Based Life-Cycle Assessment of Building Structures”. Esmaeel presented a part of Professor Li’s collaborative project with Dr Hongyu Zhou from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Dr. Abdullahi Salman from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which is aimed to integrate resilience- and energy-based building designs.   A copy of the poster can be found at:
