Research Interests

Over the last year I have become the lead investigator and overall director/administrator of the Electrical Nerve Block Group. I am in charge of a group of five researchers and am directly supervising three of them. I direct the research activities of the group, hold multiple weekly meetings, plan experiments, analyze data, initiate manuscript writing and plan grant proposal submissions. I am senior author in all present and future manuscripts and abstracts. I have initiated weekly teaching activities in my group including a Journal Club and presentation of core topics relevant to our area of research. a. Direct current nerve block, the SINE electrode. b. Direct current nerve block, high capacity electrode, chronic animals. c. Surface direct current nerve block. d. Restarting new research in high frequency nerve block.

Teaching Interests

I have continued to conduct, along with Dr. Tina Vrabec, an undergraduate lab every Fall (EBME 318). The last one was in Sept 2016 and the next one is in Sept 2017.
