One sentence description describing what the Case Rocket Team does.

Case Rocket Team is Case Western Reserve University's aerospace design team, dedicated to competing in the largest intercollegiate rocketry competition in the world and providing students with rocketry experience.

What are some of the most notable events of your year?

Throughout the year, we attend multiple launches locally and at Tripoli Mid-Ohio. Tripoli Mid-Ohio launches happen once or twice a semester depending on our testing and certification needs. Our main event every year is our annual attendance at the Spaceport America Cup in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Spaceport occurs every year in June, where we compete against collegiate rocketry teams from around the world.

Three words that describe your organization.

Perseverance, Curiosity, Innovation

What's your favorite part about being a member?

As a member of Case Rocket Team, I have not only been able to get unparalleled hands-on experience in aerospace engineering, but I also receive the mentorship and motivation I need to stay determined in the field. I sense that as a member, my knowledge is expanding, and by surrounding myself with other driven individuals, I feel more prepared to step into the aerospace workforce and contribute.

How can students get involved?

Students can join Case Rocket Team at any point in the year! Follow us on Campus Groups and Instagram (@caserocketteam), and attend any of our general body meetings on the fifth floor of Thinkbox on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm.

A note from Andrea:

We offer hands-on experience in a wide range of fields. From electronics and coding to manufacturing and project management, there is something for everyone, and always a contribution to be made on Case Rocket Team.
