One sentence description describing what the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) does.

AIChE is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals.

What are some of the most notable events of your year?

Some of our most notable events are the Winter Holiday Party and the Adler Banquet, both of which are annual! The Winter Holiday party is held each December. It is typically held in Little Italy, and students and faculty gather to socialize and celebrate the end of the fall semester. The Adler Banquet is hosted at the end of each spring semester to honor graduating seniors, celebrate their accomplishments, and commemorate their time at CWRU. It is named after Dr. Adler, a beloved professor who contributed significantly to CWRU's Chemical Engineering Department.

What's your favorite part about being a member?

I really like the AIChE community! It's been a really great way for me to meet and become better friends with other ChemE's.

What do you think is the main reason people join your organization?

AIChE is a great way to learn more about the field of chemical engineering, be exposed to professional development opportunities, and meet other ChemE's at CWRU.

How can students get involved?

Yes! You can join through campus groups. As a general member, you will have access to AIChE's vast network of professional resources and can come to all of our events. If you are interested in becoming a member of exec, reach out to Sophia Stellabotte (President) at scs164@case.edu or Samhita Vasudevan (Vice President) sxv351@case.edu.
