William Huddleston and Kevin Pachuta received 2nd and 3rd place awards, respectively, out of 43 posters at the 8th Electronic Materials and Applications Meeting (EMA) organized by the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) in Orlando (Jan 18-20, 2017). Will's work was on "Processing and Performance of Sintered Intercalaction Oxide Cathodes for All-Solid State Structural Lithium Ion Batteries" and Kevin's work was on "Characterization of Solution-Based Exfoliation of Two-dimensional Oxide Nanosheets". Both Will and Kevin are a part of the Electroceramics Group at the department. EMA 2017 is an international conference focused on electroceramic materials and their applications in electronic, electromechanical, magnetic, dielectric and optical components, devices and systems. It is jointly programmed by ACerS’ Electronics and Basic Science divisions.
