Biography
I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer and Data Sciences department at the Case School of Engineering since August 2020. I joined Dr. Ayday’s research team in summer 2021 and my research focuses on privacy-preserving machine learning algorithms, specifically clustering. I have my master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, and my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Azad University, Tehran, Iran. After getting my master’s degree, I worked as a Research Fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. As a researcher at FDA, I helped with the development of a standard data format for high throughput ion channel data from in vitro experiments.
