Shawnta Turner is the department assistant for the Case School of Engineering Dean's Office, joining the team from the Technology Transfer Office in October. Her journey at the university started in January of 2019. See what she's looking forward to at the Case School of Engineering.

What were your previous roles at the University?

I previously worked in the Technology Transfer Office assisting the Executive Director and providing admin support to the department when needed.

What is your favorite part about working at CWRU?

I've met some pretty amazing people, the diversity, and also the bonus of being off during the winter holiday break so I can spend more time with my kids.

What're you looking forward to in your new role?

I'm looking forward to learning new administrative skills, learn more about the Engineering department, and the day to day processes of my new role to meet the needs of my team, faculty, and visitors.
