Prof. Fu co-organized (with Thomas Bulea, NIH) and co-chaired (with Pepe Contreras-Vidal, U. Houston) the Mini-Symposium on Pediatric Rehabilitation Engineering at IEEE EMBC 2019. CWRU Team selected for DARPA OFFSET
Case Western Reserve's team was selected by DARPA OFFensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics (OFFSET) to compete in the Sprint 3 program. [DARPA Press Release]
Prof. Fu and MS student Chen Zhao are collaborating with Profs. Kiju Lee (Texas A&M University), Wyatt Newman (ECSE), and Dustin Tyler (BME) to develop a novel mixed reality sensorimotor interface to allow humans to team with robotic drones in swarms of up to 250 mobile/aerial units.
