CDS team finishes strong at NACICPC

A team of three CDS students finished 34th at the North American Championship of the International Collegiate Programming Contest.  Junior Hung Vu and first year students Trung Nguyen Huynh and Duc Huy Nguyen solved four problems in five hours, missing out on qualifying for the world championship by two problems.  The championship results are available at http://nac.icpc.global/scoreboard/. CWRU qualified for the championship by being one of the top six schools in the East Central region, and the next qualification contest is this fall.  Students interested in joining the competitive programming team can contact Prof. Harold Connamacher.
