Academic integrity is vital to the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science’s approach to education. Every individual in the department is expected to respect the learning process and to avoid any activity that might corrupt it. Our goal is to foster an environment where integrity is affirmed and celebrated by all members of the department.

Responsibilities of Students and Faculty

  • When faced with a violation of integrity, do something! The best way to foster an ethical environment is for every member of the community to make it clear that integrity is important, and that violations are not acceptable.
  • Take reasonable precaution to prevent instances of academic dishonesty.
