Physical Modeling For Simulation in Virtual Environments

 
Our research focuses on the development of realistic virtual environments for surgical training. These environments will be created using algorithms for real-time simulation of soft tissue behavior and high-fidelity haptic interfacing to deformable object models which will be simulated in the virtual environments.
 
Physical modeling in virtual environments is a MeRCIS project under the guidance of Dr. M. Cenk Cavusoglu.
