Lauren Smith

Lauren is conducting her thesis research on new concepts in robotic locomotion at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland. As an undergrad, Smith worked in Case Western Reserve’s Biologically Inspired Robots Lab, where she worked on increasingly mobility in rescue robots, and completed internships at Ibis Tek/BAM International Defense Contracting, Westinghouse Electric Company and NASA Glenn.

Smith will be honored alongside the other winners during Aviation Week’s annual A&D Programs Conference  November 19-20 in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
