As online social networks (OSNs) have become popular platform to spread information such as image, news, or product, there has been great interest in studying information adoption and propagation patterns in OSNs. In this talk, I will introduce our research work on content adoption and cascades in Pinterest, a popular social curation service where people can collect, organize, and share images that they find interesting. I will also introduce our research work on (i) application adoption and propagation in Facebook and (ii) conversation cascade in Reddit.
