The Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest technical professional society and is dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE has over 395,000 members world wide, including over 90,000 student members. The Institute publishes nearly 1/3 of the worlds technical literature on electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.
CWRU's student branch supports the academic, technical, and social development of our members. We provide a variety of types of events and programming, including technical lectures, study events, social events, and technical projects & competitions. Involvement in IEEE is a fantastic chance to meet motivated students with similar interests, learn and improve your technical skills, and help build a vibrant and exciting culture within the EECS department.
