Mohammad Komki, Former PhD Student Recieves Tenure Track Position

Congratulations to Mohammad Komki, a former student who worked under Professor Malakooti in Systems and Control Engineering, received his PhD in January 2018.  Mohammad has accepted the position of tenure track assistant professor at Texas A & M, College of Commerce in the Management School starting Spring 2018.

Professor Xusheng Xiao Receives Proposal Award

Professor Xusheng Xiao was awarded an NSF grant in the amount of $175,000 for his proposal - "CRII: SaTC: Enhancing Mobile App Security by Detecting Icon-Behavior Contradiction" (Proposal Number: 1755772).

EECS Student Receives First Place Award in Washington DC Conference

Vivian Zhou, an EECS BS/MS student studying under Professor Philip Feng, won the First Place prize for undergraduate students in Technology and Engineering at the 2018 Emerging Researchers National (ERN) Conference in STEM held on Feb. 22-24, 2018 in Washington DC.
