2021-22 ThinkEnergy - ThinkNuclear Fellowship Application
The ThinkEnergy program is a one-year program starting in the Fall 2021, designed for students looking to get involved in the energy field through policy, entrepreneurship, industry or technical academic research. This helps shape the 6 main elements of the ThinkEnergy program: (1) Weekly exposure to energy professionals through “Think Tanks”, (2) Entrepreneurship, (3) Prototyping, (4) Individual research and projects, (5) Campus involvement and (6) Real-world experience. PhD students will receive $10,000 awards, Masters students $5,000 awards, and undergraduates $2,000 scholarships. Students will be matched to paid internship or research opportunities over the summer.
The ThinkNuclear program, which is part of the overall ThinkEnergy program, is for undergraduate students and allows them to participate and explore research topics related to the overall nuclear energy field. Six, $10,000 scholarships are available this year. Students who accept a ThinkNuclear scholarship will incur a service obligation for 6 months after graduation. For more information, please contact GLEI or attend one of the information sessions. The ThinkNuclear program is open for undergraduate students that are U.S. Citizens or meet U.S. Permanent Residency requirements.
