Two engineering faculty members named Distinguished University Professors

Donald Feke, the university’s vice provost and a professor of chemical engineering at the Case School of Engineering, and Ica Manas-Zloczower, the Thomas W. and Nancy P. Seitz Professor of Advanced Materials and Energy, received Case Western Reserve’s highest faculty honor when they were named Distinguished University Professors, along with the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine’s Sanford Markowitz, at Wednesday’s Fall Convocation ceremony.

The title of Distinguished University Professor acknowledges the outstanding contributions of full-time, tenured professors with a distinguished academic record of extraordinary research, scholarship, teaching and service.
