PCB Design of a test board in order to test out software before a product is shipped.

• How did you find this opportunity? 

I cold called and asked if they were looking for interns.

• What has your experience been so far?

It's been great! I've been getting lots of hands-on experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and working with CAD software.

• What are you most looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to the board that I'm designing to actually be produced and arrive in the mail from the manufacturer.

• What's your best advice for students who might be looking for a similar opportunity?

Find small businesses in your local area that are doing what you want to be doing, give them a call or send them an email, you never know what might happen.
