Rigoberto Advincula, professor of macromolecular science and engineering, was appointed curator of the Advanced Materials Strategic Intelligence Briefing site of the World Economic Forum.

Advincula helped create this site and the categories by which members of the World Economic Forum have used it for briefing on the latest global issues and impact relating to materials science. 

He has been a member of the Advanced Materials Council since 2016.
