       Robert J. Kenney, MBA, MSE, BSME, an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University has expertise and teaches 6 Sigma and Quality Management.  His expertise is in lean, 6 sigma, problem solving, quality management, operations, consulting, and strategy. Rob combines his ability to network with both local and national organizations, his ability to coach and teach others, and his ability to leverage his 20+ years of industry experience into a high impact and very rewarding learning environment.
        Rob currently is an Administrative Director, Continuous Improvement, Enterprise-wide Surgical Operations at Cleveland Clinic. Prior to this he was Senior Process Improvement Specialist in Medical Operations within the Continuous Improvement Department at Cleveland Clinic. He joined Cleveland Clinic in June 2007.
         Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Rob worked in manufacturing, operations, quality assurance, and operational excellence for 14 years. At Eaton Corporation, Rob led Operational Excellence and Quality Assurance for the Eaton Airflex business unit; a $50MM business that spanned North America, Mexico, and China. Prior to joining Eaton Corporation, Rob spent 9 years at Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems, part of The Boler Company. He held several roles, including Manufacturing Engineer, Project Manager, and Quality Manager. While at Hendrickson, Rob had experience working with numerous operations located in the Midwest (USA), Mexico, and England. He acted as an internal consultant and started utilizing lean and 6 Sigma methodologies. Prior to working at Hendrickson, Rob started his career as a Tooling Engineer at B&W Nuclear Technologies in Lynchburg, VA. Rob obtained cooperative education experience at PCC Airfoils (Wickliffe, OH) and Rigid Tool Company (Elyria, OH).
       Rob earned his MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University; he earned his Masters of Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
       Rob has served as an Associate Board Member with Malachi House and volunteers with The United Way and various non-profits throughout northeast Ohio. Rob is a proud father of a 5 year old son. He comes from a family of 10 and has a twin brother, Brian Kenney, who is a Cleveland area patent attorney. He enjoys cheering on the Spartans and The Ohio State Buckeyes (OH-IO!), biking, cars, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
