Amateur Radio Field Day Exercise

CWRU’s Amateur Radio Club participated in the American Radio Relay Leagues’ Field Day.  It’s a 24 hour contest to see who can contact the most hams.  In the article, Dr. Kazdan is quoted saying “The notion is: let’s say you’re in Puerto Rico last winter and a hurricane came through. Telephone lines, cell-phone towers... all are down. And you are a licensed amateur radio operator.
