Research. Our department does cutting-edge research spanning all areas of electrical engineering and computer science: artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, control, databases, data mining, energy systems, haptics, health informatics, micro- and nano-electromechanical systems, networking, neural interfacing, robotics, signal processing, VLSI design, and many more.

Location. We are located in the Glennan (Floors 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8) and Olin (Floors 1-8) Buildings. Our department headquarters and adjoining Sears Undergraduate Design Laboratory are located on the third floor of Glennan.
