The CWRU/Waseda Connection

Since 2002, the Case School of Engineering has partnered with Waseda University, one of Japan’s most noteworthy and highly ranked technical colleges, on a student exchange program.

Case students travel to Japan from late May to early June each year to enjoy a 4-week cultural immersion program. Students experience a homestay with a family, attend technical and language classes, interact with students and faculty, participate in a lab experience and tour some of Japan’s finest attractions.

Each fall, Waseda students travel to Cleveland to stay at Case for 4 weeks.  During their time here, they stay in a residence hall with other Case students, attend language and engineering classes, interact with students and faculty, as well as visit many Cleveland attractions. If you would like to get involved with the visiting Waseda students, please contact Debbie Fatica at dxf3@case.edu
